The role

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency of our HR operations and the smooth running of our office.  You will provide administrative support across the full spectrum of the HR employee life cycle, from recruitment through to retirement, and ensure our office is a professional and welcoming space for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Administration duties related to day to day operations of the HR function; including recruitment, new starter onboarding, staff development support and training coordination.
• Maintaining employment records and updating internal databases.
• Monitor and maintaining stationery stock levels, office stock and kitchen supplies.
• Serving as the initial point of contact for all employee-related queries.

Churches Conservation Trust works with communities to look after 357 historic churches, over two million visitors annually and hundreds of events both private and public. These ancient, listed sites are among the most beautiful locations in England.

You’ll be visiting sites in your patch regularly, encouraging new supporters, holding local meetings, and raising funds to meet each building’s unique needs. Sharing progress through a growing church plan for each of the 22 churches in your area, you’ll ensure these buildings thrive as beautifully maintained visitor attractions, as venues for events and as central parts of village, town or city life.

The role

This exciting role within NLOS’s senior management team was created to help bring greater strategic alignment across NLOS and its charities and to better capitalise on new and existing opportunities. The post is critical to ensuring that we maximise the resources available to us through increased income generation and by forging strategic partnerships across multiple sectors and fields that allow us to increase and leverage support for each charity and provide a world class customer experience, while protecting and preserving green spaces of international significance. All activities will be undertaken with a priority to conserve the natural spaces we oversee, and to ensure that income generated at each site is reinvested back into the charity/site where it was raised. 

As a member of NLOS’s senior management team, the postholder will be responsible for overseeing a diverse and complementary portfolio, including income generation, strategic partnerships, marketing and communications, event and license management, volunteer and engagement programmes, and strategic partnerships. They will lead a newly created team with diverse and complementary roles, fill remaining team vacancies, and create a cohesive approach and narrative. As a member of NLOS’s senior management team, they will work closely with colleagues and the Superintendent to create and implement new opportunities to further improve these four iconic green spaces.

Purpose of the Operations Site Manager role is to:

The Operations Site Manager is a new post that will ensure the Museum builds on its excellent standards of visitor experience. The successful candidate will lead the team through the next exciting chapter of operational and visitor experience improvement by aligning working practices on-site and delivering cultural change throughout the team. Introduction

Working in a friendly and supportive team, the Admin and Support Assistant will help to facilitate the day to day running of the Foodbank and will be the first point of contact for many visitors, referral agencies, local partners and donors. In this role you will make a real difference to both the people you serve and the staff members and volunteers you work alongside, ensuring a positive experience for all.

Lewisham Foodbank is run by Transform Network (www.transformnetwork.london), a partnership of local churches. We have the Trussell Trust franchise for the London Borough of Lewisham and are one of a network of 1500 Trussell Trust foodbanks across the UK. The foodbank, which has been operating since November 2012, is founded on Christian principles. Not every member of the team is a Christian, but we all subscribe to the same values and would expect the new team member will too. Our strong staff and volunteer teams work with the most vulnerable people to transform lives and communities. Purpose of the Post

This role will support the smooth running of all Lewisham Foodbank operations by providing effective and supportive communications to those who contact the main Foodbank phone line and inbox. The postholder will be based at the New Hope Centre office (353H Bromley Road, SE6 2RP) and will respond to enquiries in a timely manner with relevant information, or direct them to the relevant staff member. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and will communicate well with other team members, clients and external organisations to troubleshoot when challenges arise, sometimes being required to provide information and support to people facing complex and distressing situations. The postholder will liaise and work closely with the rest of the team to ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and communication is in line with our policies and values.

Lewisham Foodbank works on a referral system and works with over 500 local organisations who refer people to our services. The postholder will be responsible for setting up new referral agencies on our system and sending out onboarding information and regular updates to these partners. They will also have responsibility for checking requests for home deliveries and coordinating the preparation and administration of these with a small group of delivery volunteers. This may occasionally require phoning clients and packing deliveries themselves if a volunteer has not been able to attend.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

● Respond promptly to enquiries on the main food bank phone and inbox from visitors, referrals organisations, donors and others.

● Either reply to enquiries or forward to the relevant member of staff.

● Sort emails into relevant folders and update records, when necessary, on the data collection system.

● Assess requests for deliveries and co-ordinate with delivery volunteer teams to prepare and deliver to a small group of clients’ homes.

● Liaise with referral agencies when more information or communication about deliveries is required.

● Keep the database updated with delivery requests.

● Set up new partners as referral agencies on the Data Collection System and send them all the relevant onboarding information.

● Contact referrers where clients have exceeded voucher limits and agree ongoing support in collaboration with the Project Manager.

● Create and send thank you certificates to donors at regular intervals.

● Support administrative volunteers to issue e-vouchers on behalf of job centres and other agencies that are not signed up as referrers.

● Deal with enquiries regarding Acts 435 grants and provide relevant information or signposting.

● Participate in relevant training courses and Food Network meetings.

● Keep up to date with local support and signposting information.

● Occasionally take minutes at meetings.

● Occasionally visit foodbank distribution centres and be prepared to step in to help at centres or the warehouse if there is an unexpected shortage of volunteers.

● To use online data systems and ensure all warehouse paperwork is stored securely in line with GDPR.

● To attend meetings as appropriate, including meetings which may include a time of prayer and reflection.

● To carry out other duties required by the post as agreed by the Project Manager.

● In agreement with the Project Manager, to pursue a personal programme of learning and development to enhance your skills and performance.

As the Director you will oversee the smooth operation of Hindleap Warren, in East Sussex, and Woodrow High House, in Buckinghamshire.  You will also lead on the safety and safeguarding aspects of London Youth’s work, supported by a strong and well-qualified team.

Having already undertaken substantial renovations at Woodrow during the pandemic, London Youth is making plans to improve the Hindleap site.  You will be leading that capital investment programme.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering the marketing campaigns for the Museum’s exhibitions and events to achieve visitor and income targets, particularly the annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Furthermore, you will manage and motivate the Marketing Executive to develop and implement specific marketing activity for a range of Museum self-generated income businesses and activities including commercial events, licencing, and publishing, delivering to target, budget and schedule.

Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses and public arts organisations to acquire objects for their collections, to share them with as many people as possible, and to support research and training for museum professionals. The role

The Campaign Coordinator, with an excellent understanding of B2B, will coordinate business to business campaigns to increase awareness of Art Fund and its activities amongst arts professional audiences and their museum visitors. With demonstrable experience of managing marketing campaigns, they will deliver promotional activity to increase uptake of our grant-giving programmes, national events with museums, digital products and services for Museums.

The post holder will work with internal teams to implement activity across a number of owned, earned and paid channels (online and offline) and evaluate the success of campaigns and contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing activity.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Patrons Manager, the Patrons Manager is responsible for cultivating a pipeline of potential Patrons, from prospecting through to making the ask. You will work to achieve significant growth of Patrons membership whilst ensuring the highest standards are met.

We are looking for a determined, self-led individual who will gain satisfaction from achieving ambitious targets.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Significantly increase income from the Patrons scheme in-line with the Museum's Patrons objectives and strategy, primarily through the recruitment of new Patrons.
• Work with Senior Patrons Manager and the department Research Manager, to prospect, cultivate and recruit new Patrons at all levels, with a particular focus currently on the £6,000 and £3,500 tiers (reviewable in future years).
• Work with the Membership Team to identify opportunities to promote the Patrons scheme, and to steward donors who may already be supporting the Museum.
• Feedback insight to support the stewardship and renewal of the Museum's existing Patrons.
• Work with the Patrons Coordinator to ensure that day-to-day enquiries from Patrons are answered in a timely fashion, and that any emerging issues are escalated where necessary.
• To ensure that all UK and international Patrons are aware of opportunities to give to the scheme in a tax efficient and effective manner.

About you:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a subject which requires excellent written skills.
• Experience in fundraising and private giving with sound knowledge of Annual Giving schemes.
• Experience in handling data (including financial data) and designing effective processes.
• Advanced organisational, planning and administrative skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Administrative skills and strong attention to detail.
• Resourceful, logical and analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills.
