RollaDome All Skate seeks multiple Volunteer Newsletter Writers to assist in the creation of our monthly newsletter, which serves as a key communication tool to engage our community, promote our services, and share valuable educational content. The objective is to have a team of writers to enhance the diversity of content and perspectives, ensuring a rich, engaging newsletter that appeals to a broad audience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the communications team to brainstorm and decide on themes and content that align with the monthly strategy.
· Research and gather information through various sources, including interviews with stakeholders and community members.
· Write clear, compelling articles, stories, and updates for the newsletter ensuring alignment with RollaDome’s style and ethical standards.
· Proofread content to ensure accuracy and coherence.
· Work alongside our design team to incorporate visuals that enhance the newsletter’s appearance.
· Adhere to a structured timeline for drafting, reviewing, and approving content before final publication.

Quilombo UK is looking for a Volunteer Bid Writer/ Coordinator, who loves to face work challenges; to join their growing team. The Volunteer Bid Writer/ Coordinator will play a critical role by assisting the manager to prepare the proposal that helps the organization to further develop and establish.

Main Responsibilities
- Apart from writing proposals, you will also be reviewing and editing previously written content wherever necessary.
- Working with other team members to produce bid responses and writings
- Helps in writing funding applications for the varied projects that we run in order to meet our organisational objectives.
- Also helps in presentations and all supporting documentation.

The Professional Development Programme with Quilombo UK runs over a period of 16 weeks, is UNPAID and requires a minimum of 12 hours commitment per week across Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.
Upon successful application, our HR team will contact you to arrange an interview. Following a successful interview, we'll initiate the onboarding process by sending you the necessary documents. Once your onboarding and identification documents are received and verified, you'll be invited to a 6-hour HR and System Induction. Subsequently, you'll meet with your Head of Department or Assistant Manager for your First Day.

Support the Commercial Manager in developing and delivering Fair Game’s multi-stream fundraising and partnering strategy.

To research and identify potential grants and funds that support Fair Game’s objectives.

To prepare high-quality grant applications, including writing and editing content, and production of documents in support of the respective applications.

End-to-end management of grant applications, including updating the respective libraries and funnels for management reporting.

Managing tender emails, portals, and websites for grant applications, identifying opportunities and future pipeline, registering interest, and downloading the relevant documents.

Evaluating and identifying areas for improvement from tender and bid feedback.

To attend a fortnightly one-hour management meeting.
