The Young Harrow Foundation (YHF) are looking for a YOUTH VOICE Co-ordinator to join our growing, dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced youth/community worker to co-ordinate our successful Youth Voice Programme, supporting and enabling young people to actively inform and change services designed for them.
Since 2019 Young Harrow Foundation (YHF) have trialled new ways of working in Harrow that put young people with lived experience at the very centre of developing, implementing and reviewing services that are designed for them.
The Change Champions, a team of 10 dedicated young volunteers aged 16-21, have been empowered and guided by YHF, to make important changes to existing services and be part of creating new ones in the borough. Each of them has lived experience of needing support in one of five areas – mental health / youth violence / inequalities / employment / physical activity.
This programme is about bringing these voices that do not typically get heard, to the fore – while protecting, supporting and empowering them into leadership positions.
This new co-ordination role is an exciting development in the programme. Your responsibilities will be to recruit, engage and co-ordinate the group with the aim of enabling and empowering them to ensure their voices are heard and bring about change This will include increasing their levels of confidence, improving their communication skills and improving their ability to self-advocate. Each will have unique circumstances and support needs that you will need to be mindful and supportive of.
The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, as they will also be responsible for liaising with our members and stakeholders on projects that the Change Champion are involved in. They will also be a proactive self-starter – capable of inspiring young people and ensuring good ongoing momentum on projects.

The primary role of the Food Hospitality Outreach Coordinator will be to set up and coordinate a new weekly indoor sit-down meal at St James’s Church for people experiencing homelessness or living on low incomes that operates according to the required Public Health England Covid-19 guidelines. In due course, the Outreach Coordinator may also take over the food ordering and rota management of our existing ‘Sunday Breakfast’ take-away if this project is continuing to operate, or other forms of food hospitality that become appropriate in the shifting and unpredictable post-Covid landscape.

Job Role
This is a fixed term contract to February 2024. The new project will develop and deliver a social justice project focusing on political empowerment, movement building and solidarity action. The post holder will work with Black and minoritised women in England, Scotland and Wales, to address racial exclusion, disenfranchisement and marginalisation of Black, minoritised and migrant women subjected to social injustices and severe forms racism (racialised patriarchal systems and institutions that deny the lived experiences of Black and minoritised women). The project will address structural inequality and institutional racism by monitoring regressions in policy and legislation at national and local levels; consult women and their organisations around issues of political empowerment and representation specifically addressing local and regional experiences, create strategic advocacy approaches regarding grassroots action, political organisation and movement building linking to rights, resources and protections; and create policy and advocacy actions and positions challenging racism – the normalisation, acceptance and tolerance of racist stereotypes and xenophobic beliefs as present in institutions and structures and social spaces that affect Black and minoritised women and girls’ and their access to social justice.

About our volunteering programme
We’ve just completed our 2017-2020 volunteering strategy and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the last three years:
- engaged nearly 1000 volunteers
- appointed over 700 new volunteers
- achieved the Investing In Volunteers standard in volunteering management
- ran a successful youth volunteering programme for 16 to 25-year-olds, with 169 volunteers taking part
- during our most recent annual volunteering survey, 95% of volunteers agreed that their expectations of volunteering with us had been met.
Our approach is one of partnership, working with our hospitals, bringing our knowledge and expertise on engaging volunteers successfully, together with the hospital’s needs and expertise in managing health and care safely.
During 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic we successfully managed an emergency response at our hospitals, engaging over 330 Crisis Response Volunteers (most of whom we recruited during the pandemic). Since the start of 2021 we have been working with our NHS partners to deploy our Reserve Crisis Response Volunteers as well as restart recruitment efforts so that we can support our hospitals as they roll out the vaccine, continue to treat increasing numbers of patients affected by the virus and help keep the health service running, in spite of the current pressures.

Job Overview:
The activities and move on Coordinator is responsible for managing and promoting Look Ahead's move on pathway across the RBKC complex needs service and also ensuring there is regular activities across all of our services that will not only build on residents' life skills but also enhance co-production within our services. The post holder will be responsible for sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector - liaising with landlords and sourcing new move on routes for resident. The post holder will also be responsible for sourcing funding for activities both internal an externally and working with residents across our services to ensure that the activities ran are done so in a co-produced way. This will also involve liaising with and establishing relationships with agencies outside of the organisation with whom we can form joint working relationships that will help with us developing life skills and enhancing the residents experience when it comes to co-produced activities available to participate in within our services.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that empowers people who are resident at WLM The Haven to thrive. The post holder will ensure smooth day-to-day running of the service with the support of the team at WLM The Haven and will also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement throughout the team. As part of this role, the post holder will be required to proactively participate in CQC audits and follow CQC regulations and standards.

About the role

As our Volunteering Partner - Development you will join our innovative, dynamic and creative central Volunteering Team. In your role as The Cares Family’s Corporate Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator, you will support our growing network of local and national corporate partners.
This is an exciting time to join our successful and friendly fundraising team. With a tailored, creative and collaborative team approach, the Partnerships team builds and develops mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners.
As our Corporate Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator, you will need to balance key priorities: supporting an account manager with the daily delivery of a number of major partnerships; managing and delivering volunteering and engagement opportunities with our partners; helping the team with its administrative tasks and working on critical collaborative projects to secure new business.
You will need to have an excellent eye for detail and an organised approach to deal effectively with multiple organisations to provide excellent donor stewardship, including project management and event skills in order to deliver engagement opportunities to our corporate partners. Critical to this role is excellent communication and people management skills to build partnerships. You should be motivated, ambitious and an all-round team player.

The Neighbourly Connectors Coordinator has a vital role to play in helping older people in the London Borough of Ealing in tackling loneliness and isolation and seeks to support older people in building and maintaining independence.
Reporting to the Head of Services and working closely with the Volunteer Coordinator, the Neighbourly Connectors Coordinator will ensure that the delivery of the project meets the required standard, the support needs of the service users, outputs, outcomes, and targets.
