About SUNSHINE Charity
Loneliness is one of the most profound challenges facing our communities — but together, we can change that.
SUNSHINE Charity is a new, volunteer‑powered organisation dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation by creating warm, joyful, inclusive spaces where people can meet, connect, and feel part of something bigger.
We believe that connection is a human need. We believe that joy is a form of care. We believe that community can change lives.
To keep our work running smoothly behind the scenes, we need friendly, reliable volunteers who can support our growing admin needs.
The VOLUNTEER Opportunity
As an Admin Support Volunteer, you will play a key role in helping SUNSHINE stay organised, responsive, and effective.
You’ll help keep our inboxes tidy, our documents in order, and our team supported — so we can focus on reaching more people who feel alone.
Whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, your support will make a meaningful difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your skills and availability, you may help with:
Managing and organising emails
Scheduling meetings and sending reminders
Filing and maintaining digital documents
Supporting volunteer onboarding admin
Preparing simple templates, forms, or spreadsheets
Helping with data entry and record‑keeping
Assisting with general charity admin tasks
Supporting the CEO, trustees, and volunteer teams with day‑to‑day admin
We will match tasks to your strengths and comfort level.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need charity experience — just reliability, organisation, and a willingness to help.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is organised and enjoys keeping things tidy and structured
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is comfortable using email, shared drives, and basic digital tools
Can manage simple admin tasks independently
Is reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines
Enjoys supporting others and being part of a team
Shares SUNSHINE’s values of kindness, inclusion, and joy
Experience in admin, office support, customer service, or coordination is helpful — but not essential.
Why Volunteer With SUNSHINE?
This role offers the chance to:
Support the smooth running of a brand‑new community charity
Build admin and organisational skills
Gain experience in charity operations
Work with a friendly, supportive, purpose‑driven team
Make a meaningful difference behind the scenes

The Difference You’ll Make
As an Admin Support Volunteer, you will help build that structure.
Your support will help SUNSHINE stay organised, responsive, and ready to grow — so we can reach more people who need connection.
