Settle is a charity that supports young adults as they leave the care system and move into their first home. We provide intensive one-to-one coaching support, helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need to sustain their tenancies, manage their finances and live independently. Our preventative approach to homelessness helps care-experienced young people build stable foundations and thrive in adulthood.
All our Trustees bring different personal experience and professional expertise to support our work. To make sure we keep young people at the centre of our decision-making, we aim to always have at least two Trustees with care experience.
We are now looking for new Trustees to help us deliver our mission. We are seeking people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
· Policy influencing and/or strategic communications
· Support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness
· Support for people seeking asylum and refuge
Our aim is to recruit at least two new Trustees, who between them bring experience across all three areas. We don’t expect you to lead an area of work at Settle – that’s the responsibility of the staff team. We are keen to benefit from your advice, insight and understanding of the key issues we’re dealing with.
We are committed to increasing the diversity of our staff and Board team, and we particularly welcome applications from people from minoritised ethnic backgrounds, or with other lived experience of discrimination. We are proud to be a member of the Care Leaver Covenant, and care-experienced applicants who meet the criteria for this role will be guaranteed an interview.
Our vision is a 21st century Britain where no young person is homeless and all young people get a fair chance at doing well.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trustee to join the Board of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association at a pivotal time for the MND community. Advances in scientific understanding, growing public awareness and increasing collaboration across healthcare, research and policy are creating new opportunities to improve lives today and accelerate progress towards effective treatments for tomorrow.
Our 2025–2030 strategy sets out an ambitious agenda across three core impact goals: Tomorrow’s Treatments: accelerating progress towards effective treatments and earlier diagnosis. Alongside this, the Association is increasing its research ambition, with the aim of spending £20 million a year on research by 2030.
As a Clinical Trustee, you will provide trusted clinical insight, independent judgement and constructive challenge to support strategic decision-making and help the Board navigate an increasingly complex healthcare and research landscape. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly

- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and ability to fulfil the trustee time commitment
Desirable
- Leadership experience within specialist MND services, centres or multidisciplinary care settings
- Experience influencing MND research, care, service development or policy
- Experience improving the quality, accessibility or consistency of care for people affected by MND
- Experience building partnerships across healthcare, academia, research, policy or the voluntary sector
- Previous trustee, governance, advisory or board-level experience
Please note: The Clinical Trustee role is a voluntary, unpaid trustee appointment. Reasonable expenses incurred while carrying out trustee duties will be reimbursed in line with the MND Association's policies. Board meetings take place four times a year, with an annual Board Away Day. The Clinical Trustee is also expected to sit on the Care Services and Research Committee, which meets four times a year online.
Further information about the MND Association, our Board of Trustees, the Clinical Trustee opportunity, and how to apply can be found in the attached Candidate Pack.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive Board that reflects the communities we serve. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and particularly value diversity of thought, experience and perspective.

Breck Foundation is a UK child online safety charity founded in 2014 in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. Everything we do is driven by a simple but urgent mission: to prevent this from ever happening again.

The RSAA is seeking up to four new trustees to join its board at the most exciting moment in the Society’s recent history. In our 125th anniversary year, we are renewing our mission: promoting Asian Studies and deeper public understanding of Asia, and we are looking for exceptional people to help us deliver it.
About the Society
Founded in 1901, the RSAA is an independent, international network for informed debate about Asia, engaging experts, policy makers and the wider public with experience, analysis and scholarship. Our geographical remit runs from the eastern Mediterranean to the Pacific. We publish the quarterly journal Asian Affairs (in print continuously since 1914), the Asian Review of Books and the magazine Caravanserai. We run a programme of public lectures and events in London and online, are digitising our historic archive, and support younger scholars through our awards and recently created mentoring scheme. The Society is wholly independent: it accepts no state funding and takes no institutional positions on issues of public policy. It is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (no. 1179300).
A new chapter
The board has set an ambitious direction for the Society’s next quarter-century: building the RSAA into a leading force for the study and understanding of Asia in the UK. Plans include a permanently endowed programme of research and travel awards, strengthened publications, and expanded collaboration with leading institutions in Asia and the United States. To underwrite this, the Society is preparing a major philanthropic fundraising programme. Alongside it, the board and executive will together shape a new five-year business plan to take effect from 2028.
Who we are looking for
We wish to strengthen the board with senior figures who share our commitment to Asia and can bring some of the following:
· Fundraising leadership. Substantial experience of philanthropic fundraising: major gifts, trusts and foundations, or corporate giving, and the appetite to play an active part in a significant campaign alongside the President, Chairman and CEO.
· Networks and standing. Strong personal connections in philanthropic, business, academic, diplomatic or cultural circles in the UK, in Asia or in the United States, and the credibility to open doors at the most senior level.
· Commitment to the field. A demonstrable commitment to Asian Studies, whether from an academic, publishing, cultural, business or public-service background, and enthusiasm for deepening understanding of Asia.
· Strategic planning. Experience of setting strategy and building organisations, to help the executive draft and deliver the Society’s next five-year business plan.
We would also particularly welcome candidates offering skills in charity finance and accountancy, charity law and governance.
What is involved
The board meets quarterly online, with additional work through sub-committees and involvement in fundraising activity and events. Trustees are appointed for a term of three years, renewable once. The role is unremunerated; reasonable expenses are paid.
Diversity
The RSAA seeks to reflect, in the diversity of its board, the breadth of the communities, regions and disciplines with which the Society engages. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and particularly from people of Asian heritage.
How to apply
Please submit a CV and a short covering letter, explaining what you would bring to the board by Friday 30 October 2026. Candidates are warmly invited to have an informal, confidential conversation with the Chairman or the CEO before applying. To arrange one, please get in touch through the contact page on our website. Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be held in November.

Who we are
Children with Voices started over 20 years ago with one woman, a community hall and a belief that no child in Hackney should be forgotten. Our founder Michelle began with a Winter Wonderland for local children at London Fields School, covered by the Hackney Gazette, after being named Family Mosaic Inspirational Tenant of the Year. She has not stopped since.
Today we are a registered charity at Fawcett Estate Community Hall in Clapton, running a Community Food Hub, Jumping Beans, SEND support, alternative education and work in local schools. Over 100,000 children and families have come through our doors. Our work has been featured on BBC, ITV and Channel 4, and we have been recognised with a Pride of Britain Award and a Points of Light Award. What we are proudest of is that families still knock on our door knowing someone will answer.
Who this role suits
A retired journalist, press officer or communications professional with a contacts book and time to give. Someone in PR who wants their skills to mean something beyond the day job. A graduate ready to build real press cuttings with their name behind them. If you can spot a story and pick up the phone, you will do well here.
What you will be doing
• Building relationships with journalists, local papers, radio, podcasts and community platforms
• Writing press releases and statements, and getting them to the right people at the right time
• Finding the stories worth telling across our programmes and turning them into coverage
• Setting up interviews and media opportunities, and preparing Michelle and the team for them
• Keeping a record of coverage so we can show funders and partners the reach we have
• Working within our safeguarding policies at all times. We never share a child's image or story without proper consent.
What you will need
You need to be able to write clearly and quickly, and to be comfortable approaching people who do not know you yet. Persistence matters more than polish in this role, because most pitches go nowhere and the good ones come from following up. Media contacts are a real advantage but not essential.
What you will get from us
Your name on real coverage for a cause that deserves it. Freedom to shape how we are seen. Proper support, so you are never left to figure it out alone. A personal reference from Michelle, and work you will be glad to have on your record.

- Experience of working in education and / or the charity sector, and knowledge of Froebelian principles is desirable but by no means essential.
- You will need to share our commitment to improving early years education.
- The Froebel Trust strives to be an inclusive organisation and therefore would particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups and people who can bring new perspectives and experiences to our team.
What you'll do
- Attend at least two meetings per year to help shape the strategic direction of the charity’s communications activities with particular emphasis on digital communications.
- Support and challenge the Executive Team to develop and deliver a new communications strategy in line with the Trust’s new strategy for 2027-2030.
How it works
- The Trust’s Communications and Public Engagement Committee has at least three members at any one time. We are seeking to replace two members whose terms of office expire this year. The committee is chaired by a trustee.
- The Communications and Public Engagement Committee meets at least twice per year on Zoom.
- Most meetings are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays 12pm-1.30pm, typically in March and October, with flexibility for an additional session.
- Committee members are also invited to attend annual Froebel Trust whole team training for around two hours on Zoom. This is optional but attendance is encouraged.
Terms
- The role is voluntary and unpaid but out-of-pocket expenses are covered, if applicable.

Role overview
Trustee — Policy, Advocacy & EDI
About us: Could you help us get millions of separated children Back to Family?
Orphanages don’t protect children, they harm them. Put simply: the last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs - someone to love them.
Right now, 5.4 million children around the world are locked away in orphanages — even though over 80% of them are not orphans. Orphanages expose children to abuse and trafficking, and physical and psychological trauma that can last a lifetime. A century of evidence shows that the bond between a child and their family is what every child needs to grow, thrive and be safe.
The role
As our Policy, Advocacy & EDI Trustee, you will help shape and strengthen HHC's influence on the global stage, bringing senior expertise to bear on the policy and financing decisions that determine the pace of care reform worldwide. Working closely with our Chair, CEO and senior advocacy and programmes colleagues, you will contribute to our ambitious 2030 goal by:
- Advocacy strategy — providing strategic guidance and constructive challenge to strengthen HHC's global advocacy approach, helping sharpen our positioning, messaging and campaign strategy on care reform.
- Policy and financing influence — advising the Board and Executive on opportunities to influence the decisions of governments, regional bodies and multilateral institutions, and supporting efforts to shift public and donor financing away from orphanages and towards family-based care.
- EDI leadership — championing equity, diversity and inclusion across Board governance, organisational culture, safeguarding, and HHC's external voice, including how we portray the children, families and communities we support.
- Stakeholder relationships — using your personal networks and credibility to open doors with policymakers, multilateral bodies, coalition partners and international fora relevant to care reform.
Who we are looking for
You will bring senior-level experience in public policy, government relations or international advocacy, ideally connected to child protection, social welfare or human rights, and a demonstrable track record of influencing policy or financing decisions at national, regional or international level. Beyond that, we are looking for someone who brings:
- A strong, practical understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles and how to apply them to governance and organisational culture
- An active network among policymakers, multilateral institutions, donors or the wider international child rights community
- Experience working across cultures and in international contexts, including in lower income countries and fragile and conflict-affected states
- The ability to translate specialist expertise into clear, practical guidance the Board and Executive can act on
Above all, you will share our belief that every child deserves to grow up in the love and safety of a family, and our commitment to driving that change with courage, integrity, excellence and being deeply human.
What we offer
This is a voluntary, unremunerated role. In return you will:
- Engage with our work across nine countries
- Contribute to systemic change at global scale, helping to shape the future for separated children worldwide
- Be part of an organisation approaching its 2030 goal — a worldwide consensus that orphanages have no place in any child's life
Time commitment
The role requires approximately 12–18 days per year, comprising:
- Four Board meetings per year (in person, London or virtual)
- Five subcommittee meetings per year (virtual), as a key member of our Programmes, Advocacy, Research and Accountability Committee (PARAC)
- An annual two-day awayday, which may take place in one of our countries of operation
- Additional time for preparation, ad hoc queries and induction in your first year
The initial term of office is three years, with the possibility of two further three-year terms by mutual agreement.
Closing Date: The final cut off for applications is 17.00 UK time on Thursday 8 October 2026 so please get in touch if you have the right skills, experience and passion for our cause.
To apply, please upload your CV and a brief covering letter indicating why you are interested in joining the Hope and Homes for Children Board and how your experience, skills and values map to the requirements of this role.
Diversity
Hope and Homes for Children actively encourages equity, diversity and inclusion, and we look to recruit a diverse range of people to reflect the communities in which we live. We are keen to see a diverse membership of both the trustee body and committees as we believe diversity brings us closer to our mission of eliminating orphanages.
Thank you for considering this role. Every child deserves to grow up in the love and safety of a family

Our work centres the voices and experiences of people who have historically been ignored, silenced or left behind by existing systems.
TMTSD is a developing podcast and documentary storytelling platform designed to create space for real human experiences — particularly stories connected to childhood sexual abuse, adverse childhood experiences, survival, resilience and social neglect.
However, TMTSD is intended to become more than a storytelling organisation.
It is being developed as one of the organisations through which a much broader vision can be explored, developed and ultimately brought into reality.
TMTSD is a sister organisation of The SHG Family Group Corp, which is being established as a long-term innovation, creativity and closed-membership ecosystem focused on addressing significant social and economic challenges through technology, education, social infrastructure, sustainable enterprise and international collaboration.
SHG's long-term vision includes the development of interconnected initiatives across areas such as:
- Renewable Energy
- AI/Social/Community Housing
- Artificial Intelligence
- Education
- Cybersecurity
- Healthcare & Family Wellness
- Economic Development
- International Development
- Social Infrastructure
- Public-Private Partnerships
- Emerging Technologies
- Other strategically important sectors
The ambition is not simply to create individual projects.
It is to develop interconnected systems, organisations and initiatives capable of creating sustainable economic and social opportunity while improving quality of life — particularly for young people and communities across the Global South.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Founding Director / Political Affairs Strategist to establish and lead the Political Intelligence Strategic Relations and Partnerships function within Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C.
This is one of the most strategically important founding positions within the organisation.
The purpose of this department is to help move the SHG vision from concept to reality.
Many of the initiatives being contemplated within the SHG ecosystem will ultimately require relationships with:
- National governments
- Government ministries
- Local and regional authorities
- Public bodies
- Regulators
- International organisations
- Development institutions
- Universities and research institutions
- Major corporations
- Foundations
- Strategic investors
- Public-private partnership bodies
- International development organisations
- Other major institutional stakeholders
The Political Affairs function will therefore serve as a strategic bridge between SHG's ambitions and the institutions capable of helping those ambitions become real-world programmes, partnerships and infrastructure.
We are looking for someone capable of building that bridge.
Your Mission
Your central mission will be:
Build the Political Intelligence Strategic Relations and Partnerships (P.I.S.R.P) function within TMTSD into a capability that helps turn SHG's strategic initiatives and long-term vision into credible government, institutional and international partnerships.
You will help establish the relationships, strategies, structures and institutional pathways required for SHG's initiatives to progress from ideas and concepts into viable programmes, organisations, partnerships and real-world projects.
This means understanding not only how governments work, but also:
who needs to be involved, why they would become involved, what value SHG can provide, what conditions need to exist for collaboration, and how an initial relationship can develop into a meaningful long-term institutional partnership.
Your Role as Founding Director
You will become the founding architect of TMTSD's P.I.S.R.P function.
Your role will include determining:
- Which countries should be prioritised.
- Which government sectors are strategically relevant.
- Which ministries, departments and public bodies should be engaged.
- Which international institutions should be approached.
- Which SHG initiatives are ready for government engagement.
- Which initiatives require further development before approaching government.
- What SHG's government proposition should be.
- What value SHG can credibly offer governments and institutions.
- Which relationships should be developed.
- Which relationships should be escalated to senior leadership.
- What constitutes a qualified government opportunity.
- How government engagement should be structured.
- How government relationships should be maintained.
- How government intelligence should flow through SHG.
- What future international Political Affairs offices should look like.
- What type of people should eventually represent SHG in different countries and regions.
Your Strategic Mandate
You will be given the following founding mandate:
"Establish the P.I.S.R.P function within Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. and build the institutional pathways through which SHG's strategic initiatives can become reality."
The objective is to create a department capable of looking at an SHG initiative and asking:
What would it take to make this real?
Then determining:
- Which country?
- Which government?
- Which ministry?
- Which public institution?
- Which strategic partners?
- Which policy environment?
- Which regulatory requirements?
- Which funding mechanisms?
- Which institutional relationships?
- Which political and governmental stakeholders?
- Which sequence of engagement?
- Which leadership involvement?
- Which risks?
- Which opportunities?
The department should ultimately become the function that can say:
"This is how we take an SHG initiative from concept to institutional reality."
Core Responsibilities
The Founding Director will be responsible for building the function from the ground up, including:
Government Strategy
- Develop TMTSD/SHG's government-affairs strategy.
- Establish government-engagement principles and protocols.
- Develop country and jurisdiction prioritisation frameworks.
- Identify government sectors relevant to SHG initiatives.
- Monitor political, governmental, policy and regulatory developments.
- Provide strategic government-affairs intelligence to SHG leadership.
What We Are Looking For
We are not primarily looking for someone with a political science degree.
We are looking for someone who has actually operated around government, institutions and senior decision-makers.
Ideally, your career will include experience across combinations of:
- Government Affairs
- Public Affairs
- Government Relations
- Public Policy
- International Development
- Public-Sector Partnerships
- Diplomacy
- Government Contracting
- Ministerial or Government Offices
- International Organisations
- Regulatory Affairs
- Institutional Partnerships
- Major Corporations dealing with Government
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
Experience operating across multiple countries, jurisdictions or political systems would be particularly valuable.
Qualifications / Experience
Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years' experience in government affairs, public affairs, government relations, policy, diplomacy, international development, public-sector partnerships or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable experience engaging with government departments, ministries, public bodies, senior officials or institutional decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of political and governmental systems.
- Strong stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Strong strategic-thinking ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing senior institutional relationships.
- Strong political and institutional judgement.
- Understanding of ethical government engagement and compliance boundaries.
- Ability to operate across cultures and jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently and build a new function from the ground up.
Exceptional candidates may be considered with a different combination of experience where they demonstrate significant government, institutional or strategic capability.
The Person We Are Looking For
You understand that government affairs is not simply about knowing politicians.
It is about understanding systems.
You understand the difference between:
an introduction → a relationship → an opportunity → a partnership → an institutional programme.
You know how to navigate complex organisations. You know how to identify who actually matters within an institution. You can build credibility with senior stakeholders. You are politically aware without being politically partisan. You understand discretion, integrity and confidentiality. You are diplomatic without being passive. You are strategic without losing sight of execution.
You can take an ambitious idea and begin asking the practical institutional questions required to make it real.
You are comfortable with uncertainty. You enjoy building things that do not yet exist.
You think internationally. You think in decades rather than months. You care about creating meaningful social and economic impact. And importantly:
You want to build a function, not simply occupy a position.
The Founding Leadership Opportunity
This position is initially offered as an unpaid volunteer/member founding leadership opportunity during Phase 1.
The intention is to build the function alongside the organisation rather than create a permanent unpaid executive position.
As TMTSD and the wider SHG ecosystem develop, secure funding, establish operational entities and generate sustainable economic activity, appropriate paid executive positions will be created subject to organisational growth, governance, funding and operational requirements.
The successful Founding Director will therefore have the opportunity to help design the function they may ultimately lead.
To Apply
Please send:
- Your CV, portfolio or LinkedIn profile, if available.
- A short introduction about yourself.
- A summary of your government, public-affairs, policy or institutional experience.
We are particularly interested in understanding what you have actually done, the environments in which you have operated, the complexity of the relationships you have managed, and how you think strategically.
We are seeking two enthusiastic and committed individuals to serve on our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious organisation working at the intersection of law, campaigning and social justice. As a Trustee, you will help shape the future of PILC, ensuring that we remain true to our purpose while continuing to deliver meaningful impact for the communities we serve.
We are committed to developing and maintaining a Board that is as inclusive as possible and representative of the communities we work alongside. Therefore, having lived experience in an area of our work would be advantageous. We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, recognising that a diverse Board strengthens discussion, improves decision-making and helps us better fulfil our mission.

Please note that this is a voluntary position, but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The time commitment for this role is approximately 8-10 days per annum. The Board meets online on the 3rd Monday of every other month from 6-8pm and trustees are required to attend with their cameras on. All Board papers are circulated usually 2 weeks ahead of the meeting. All applicants must be based in the U.K.
Duties
As a Trustee, you will be expected to:
• Attend bi-monthly Board meetings (held remotely), having read the papers in advance and being prepared to contribute constructively to discussion and decision-making.
• Attend the annual Board away day and Annual General Meeting (AGM).
• Support, promote and provide advice on PILC’s charitable purpose, vision, values and strategic objectives.
• Approve operational strategies, policies, and monitor and evaluate their implementation.
• Oversee PILC’s financial sustainability by reviewing and approving budgets, PILC’s financial statements and monitoring and evaluating financial performance.
• Ensure that the charity is well governed, effectively managed and compliant with its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Support the effective management of risk and ensure that appropriate systems of internal control are in place.
• Provide appropriate support, constructive challenge and accountability to the Director in the exercise of their delegated authority.
• Keep informed about developments affecting PILC, the non-profit legal sector and the wider operating environment.
• Contribute to the regular review and continuous improvement of the Board's effectiveness and governance arrangements.
• Exercise independent judgement, act with reasonable care and skill, and always act in good faith in the best interests of PILC’s, managing any actual or potential conflicts of interest appropriately.
• Act as an ambassador for PILC, promoting its work and using your skills, knowledge, experience and networks to support the organisation where appropriate.
PILC exists to challenge systemic injustice through legal representation, strategic litigation, research and legal education.

Our Organisation & Governance
Bite Back is a registered charity in England & Wales (1180969) and Scotland (SC055240). Bite Back is led by young people - not consulted as an afterthought, but led. Over 70+ core youth activists who sit on our Youth Board directly shape our strategy, campaigns, and communications, supported by thousands of young people engaged across our UK networks.
Our staff team of about 30 people works in partnership with our Youth Board, using their professional networks and expertise to create platforms for young leaders to drive systemic change.
Bite Back is overseen by a dedicated Board of Trustees, led by Chair Dr. Dolly van Tulleken.
The Board is responsible for ensuring the charity fulfills its mission, remains strictly youth-led, and maintains robust financial and operational governance. Our Board currently includes experienced professionals across health, education, finance, campaigns, and youth engagement, alongside Youth Trustees who bring essential lived experience to our governance. Our Board has a Finance Sub-Committee to support specifically with the long-term financial sustainability of the charity.
Everything we do is guided by the core values developed by our Youth Board: Fresh, Resilient, Energetic, Real, and Respectful.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI-B)
As part of our commitment to making meaningful progress towards a movement where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered, Bite Back’s DEIB vision statement has been co-developed by Bite Back’s young people, staff and trustees:
A fair food system means our working culture and values - Real, Respectful, Resilient, Fresh and Energetic - reflects this vision. We support our staf , ambassadors and trustees to live Bite Back’s values in their work.
At Bite Back, DEIB means that our people are able to join and navigate the workplace, trusting they’ll be supported to thrive, and that we’ll respond with compassion and make change when things fall short. We recognise the systems of oppression which keep marginalised groups from power, and seek to proactively build equity. We are intentional about representation. We actively recruit under-represented voices, ensuring our staf team and youth board are representative of a wide variety of lived experiences.
We push to improve outcomes for those kept furthest from power, celebrate differences and ensure accessibility is built in, not added on. Our aspiration and intention is that Bite Back is an organisation that recognises, shares and acts on its power and responsibility to young people, employees, community and wider society, driving equity and inclusion in every space, and in every decision.
You can read more about how we approach DEI-B on our website.
We are intentional about representation and equity:
● Youth-Led Representation: We ensure our core movement including over 70+ Youth Activists and thousands of young campaigners across England and Scotland reflects the rich diversity of young people most impacted by food insecurity and junk food marketing.
● Proactive Inclusion: We actively recruit under-represented voices to our staff team and Board of Trustees, celebrating difference and embedding accessibility into everything we do by design.
● Continuous Improvement: We continually review and embed inclusive practices across our recruitment, organisational culture, campaign priorities, and board governance.
OUR MISSION IS TO CHANGE THE WAY UNHEALTHY FOOD IS MADE, MARKETED AND SOLD, ESPECIALLY TO CHILDREN.
