We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Counselling Supervisor to provide online supervision for our trainee counsellors. Our service provides free and low cost counselling to those on low income and those who are marginalised.

Responsibilities:

• Group Supervision:
  • Facilitate one (two hour) group supervision sessions for trainee counsellors per month.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and reflective learning environment.
  • Facilitate discussions around client work, ethical dilemmas, and professional development.
  • Encourage self-awareness, critical thinking, and the integration of theory and practice.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to trainees.
  • Monitor trainee progress and identify areas for development.

• Qualified and experienced counselling supervisor with a recognised supervision qualification, or a practising counselling working towards a supervision qualification.

Can you spare 3 hours a week to make a difference to the lives of children? Home-Start Volunteers offer support, friendship and practical help to families.

We are looking for compassionate, non-judgemental and caring individuals to join our community of volunteers to share their parenting experiences and knowledge with families. Home-Start is one of the leading family support charities in the UK and Home-Start Warrington and Cheshire work in Northwich, Warrington and Winsford. Our volunteers provide a weekly, one-to-one home-visiting service. We help families from all backgrounds, with at least one child in the household under the age of 5 years, through their most challenging times.

Your role will be to offer support to a family you are matched with and support them in the way that they would like: this may include help with practical tasks such as getting out of the house, attending appointments, an extra pair of hands on a trip to the park or a playgroup, role-modelling how to play with children or helping to get organised. It could also involve empathising and supporting through emotional issues in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. All visits are a maximum of three hours, once per week and all take place Monday to Thursday, between 9am and 4pm (and only when our office is open).

Home Start also deliver targeted groups to support families, a place for families to connect, learn and play together. Volunteers support Home Start staff to deliver groups for families – from helping to set up/clear away, role-modelling playing with the children to parents and offering friendly emotional support to parents.

We will train you to Home Start Warrington and Cheshire standards of excellence. The training is free and is delivered by a combination of online modules and four, weekly, face to face sessions with one of our Family Support Coordinators.

A key part of our services is providing healthy home cooked meals for our community members twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays). As a Community Kitchen Chef volunteer, you will gain valuable frontline experience cooking a community meal for adults with a range of mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with other volunteer chefs to design healthy menus that are guided by suggestions and requests from our community members.  You will be challenged to create delicious meals using a limited budget and minimising food waste.

About Route to Roots

We’re looking for volunteers of any gender to support this new football and lunch project for male sanctuary seekers in Bethnal Green. We'll bring together 12–14 men each Saturday for an informal kick-about, followed by lunch together. The aim is simply to create a welcoming space where people can connect, build community and enjoy some time together.

What you'll be doing

Your job is to welcome participants to the venue and help create a warm, relaxed space. One lucky person gets to collect the pizzas from a local restaurant. Volunteers will also be chatting with people over lunch, and giving people chance to practice their English. You can join in the football - if you fancy it! No footballing skills or sports action required though - just a friendly face and a bit of time to give.

Cards for Bravery is a registered charity dedicated to brightening the days and improving the emotional wellbeing of hospitalised and seriously ill children through services such as the distribution of positive handmade cards, care packages, and activity packs.

As part of our charity, we distribute 'Bravery' Packages to seriously ill children. These are care packages full of gifts to help brighten the days of seriously ill children and their families.

As a Bravery Package volunteer, you will assist the charity with coordinating and putting these packages together.

This is a vital role for our organisation and we are looking for reliable applicants. Applicants will work alongside one of our current Bravery Package Volunteers.

This role is hybrid, with remote work online but also requires some volunteering to be completed in person in Braintree, CM7 2NL area. Applicants must be able to travel to this area when needed and travel expenses can be reimbursed if needed. The office is wheelchair accessible. In-person timings can be flexible including weekdays and weekends.

A DBS Check will be required for this role, completed by the charity.

The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children. We aim to actively encourage women to be self-reliant, through empowering them to identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions.

We offer short term home visits, counselling sessions, baby bank, practical & emotional One to One support, Domestic violence groups, Awareness raising workshops and drop in or chat groups to help women facing crises or challenging situations.

Purpose
The effective provision of a welcoming client administration service for WFRC.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Reception

To welcome clients and other visitors in person or on the telephone.

To answer the telephone and pass on messages to other WFRC staff and volunteers as well as signpost to other organisations where appropriate.

2. To assist the Office Manager to make reservations for and be the first point of contact for WFRC’s Chat group, events & other activities. To keep a record of all interested clients and send out relevant literature.

3. To assist with the purchasing and control of domestic matters, stationery, kitchen supplies and office equipment as requested by the Office Manager.

4. To assist in general recruitment activities such as writing, placing and updating adverts and undertake administrative duties to support WFRC Services.

5. To take the post to the central post office at the end of each day.

• Schedule appointments and manage staff calendars.

• Maintain accurate records of calls, referrals, and appointments.

• Manage email correspondence and administrative communications.

• Prepare, organize, and securely maintain client documentation.

• Maintain digital and physical filing systems in compliance with data protection policies.

• Support day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth administrative workflow.

• Track action items from meetings and follow up with relevant staff.

• Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and operational documentation.

• Coordinate communication between staff, volunteers, and external partners.

• Monitor office supplies and maintain administrative resources.

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and organizational policies.

• Escalate urgent, complex, or sensitive cases to appropriate personnel.

Experience & Qualifications
