The role: The main responsibilities of your role will include:
- Supporting the grant review process by undertaking peer review of grant applications.
- Advising and supporting the staff team in monitoring funded projects.
- Supporting our strategic goals of funding research, sharing information and creating change.
- Helping to champion FRAME’s mission and charitable purpose.
Estimated hours: Approx. ½ day – 4 days per year. We’ll need your expertise during late April to early May, and late September through October to review grant applications.
Experience desired: We’re looking for panel members with scientific research experience most likely from an industry or academic background. This experience may relate to basic, translational, applied research, or regulatory testing in any area that is, or would benefit from human-relevant methods. This includes areas where laboratory animals have been used historically or are still widely used today but non-animal approaches are now being developed. Our current panel includes experts from such varied fields as bone tissue engineering and metabolomics through to neuropharmacology and ecotoxicology, and we welcome applications from diverse specialisms. The greater the diversity, the better!

As a Digital Champion you will provide support to our clients who struggle with IT and monitor our online peer support platforms. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service Delivery – Client support tasks:

Fuse is an online ‘learning and knowledge’ platform. It combines elements of social media with e-learning. Forward Trust uses it for clients to share peer support and receive news of events, activities and services.
- Supporting the Forward Fuse platform as a moderator outside of normal staff working hours – monitoring content and comments for breaking of the Ground Rules, and encouraging engagement.
Discord:
Discord is a digital messaging platform on which Forward clients can safely chat with others who share similar objectives around recovery and self-growth, sharing support and combatting isolation in the process.
- Supporting the Discord platform as a moderator outside of normal staff working hours – monitoring messages for breaking of the User Agreement
Additional tasks:
- Support with web coding (if you have relevant experience)
- Engage in support and supervision provided.
- To keep a good record of your work, including reporting verbally to their supervisor and completing relevant forms.
This may vary depending on your specific team and time commitment.

We are looking for trained Clinical Supervisors who have been practising for over 3 years to lead supervision sessions with our volunteer Mentors. We hold these bi-weekly in groups of 3-4 over lunchtime or evenings online.
What will you be doing?
All Been There Mentors who work with our Mentees have monthly group supervision. Usually there are four volunteers in a group. Supervision can take place in person or on zoom.
Commit to supervising a minimum of two groups per month (approx 5 hours in total).

Other activities include;
· Attending a joint visit with the therapist to be introduced to the patient and the exercises they will be doing.

· Respect that you are in someone’s home and acting appropriately.
· Arranging further visits as agreed with the patient and the therapist within agreed hours.
· Promoting rehabilitation in all of your interactions with both patients and their families.
· Contacting the Living Well at Home team prior to and directly after a visit to ensure your safety at all times.
· Complete the visit report and submit it to the Living Well at Home team on the same day as the visit.
You will not be involved in the following;
· Toileting or personal care.

Strength & Stem uses floristry to train and support women who have survived modern slavery and human trafficking, as they journey towards full independence and freedom. We believe in the power of flowers to unleash creativity, which in turn helps to build confidence and strengthen wellbeing.
We run eight-month long programmes which incorporate vocational floristry training, supplementary skills training, work experience, and mentorship. Overall, we aim to help our programme participants grow in confidence and self-esteem and to become better equipped to enter and maintain meaningful employment.
The mentoring programme is an essential part of achieving these outcomes. The purpose of this role is to support programme participants as they work towards their employment goals. Mentoring will take place over a period of six months, following the mentee’s successful completion of the Strength & Stem vocational floristry and supplementary skills training sessions.
Mentorship sessions will take place in person in London.
We expect mentors to meet with their mentees for 1-2 hours a month for 6 months duration from July – December 2024.
This is a voluntary role and will require mentors to undertake a DBS check.

The Diocese Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is run by a Board of Trustees, who are responsible for determining the strategic direction of the Diocese, management of the assets, the smooth running of the day-to-day administration and the legal discharge of its responsibilities.
The role of a Lay Trustee is about helping the Archdiocese achieve its ambitious vision for evangelisation and leading people to Christ, while especially promoting our diverse and vibrant communities. The Archdiocese is seeking to secure a range of skills and expertise in the appointments, which include legal, property or safeguarding. Experience within the education sector may be helpful.
In addition to the general duties and responsibilities outlined by the Charity Commission of England and Wales, Lay and Clerical Trustees collaborate to help shape the strategic vision of the charity and work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and his team focussed on key functions including education, fundraising and property management.
This will mostly be achieved through attendance at the Trustee meetings, which take place at least once a quarter. There is a minimum requirement of three meetings a year, with additional meetings for the first year.
Lay Trustees must be practicing Catholics, but they do not have to be Southwark Archdiocese parishioners.

Application is by way of CV initially followed by a Supporting Statement, which should concentrate on motivation, credentials, experience and knowledge and be around 1,000 words max.
Expressions of interest and applications will be reviewed and progressed on a rolling basis with the aim of having secured appointments by early May 2024.
Candidates taken forward to interview will be required to complete a formal declaration of eligibility to become a Trustee.
Every effort will be made to facilitate an informal visit to the Archdiocese Offices and the opportunity to meet with the Financial Secretary prior to formal interview.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the Area leadership by supporting the Chair in the oversight of all Area activities, making sure that they are consistent, integrated and in line with Ramblers' mission and strategy.

We are committed to encouraging and supporting walking, protecting and expanding public rights of way and access land, and protecting the beauty of the countryside and other areas.
The Vice-Chair supports the Area Chair in the leadership of Ramblers' activities in East and West Sussex including the provision through the Groups in the Area of organised walks, helping to ensure the Groups are run well, follow good practice and join in national/Area initiatives, and the protection of rights of way.
The Vice-Chair deputises for the Area Chair, as required, at meetings of the Area Council and Area Executive Committee, represents the Area at meetings of the South East Regional Cluster and, in agreement with the Area Chair, leads specific projects in which the Area is engaged, making sure in all cases that Ramblers' policies and procedures are followed with a view to ensuring that the Area, its members and volunteers are kept safe and legally compliant.
The Vice-Chair supports the Chair in the oversight of the Area's working relationship with local authorities, organisations and politicians.
The Vice-Chair assists the Chair by making sure that the Area follows all of the required governance, including AGMs and attendance at Ramblers' General Council Meetings.
The incumbent will work closely with the Chair and other members of the Area Executive Committee and Area Council, and where necessary seek advice and guidance from Ramblers' central office.
