What's involved?

Supporting the group leader by setting up the room, welcoming people with dementia and their carers and providing refreshments. Supporting activities and encouraging involvement. 

The Kingswood singing for the brain runs every Wednesday from 10am - 11:45am. 

 

This role will suit you if you are...

Knowledgeable or willing to learn about dementia with a commitment to inclusion and an interest in meeting new people. Have an interest in or knowledge of music and movement. You should also be comfortable working in a team to deliver high service standards and willing to follow guidance and procedures.

The Singing for the Brain groups are designed around principles of music therapy and singing, your involvement helps to make people feel less isolated and to experience an enjoyable activity, contributing to their feeling of well being.
