Job description

Base 51 is passionate about supporting young people and enabling them to reach their potential.  We have been delivering services in Nottingham for 30 years and have supported over 50,000 people.

In the next six months we will be moving premises, helping us move closer towards sustainability. This is an exciting time for the charity, and in addition to moving premises we are planning to expand our range of services and develop new, digital activities and services.

We are also shaping our future Board and looking to attract individuals who are interested in taking on the Vice-Chair role. This role will be supported by a training and mentoring package, with a view to the Vice-Chair transitioning into the Chair role within twelve months. We are keen to attract applicants who have lived experience and understand current issues and challenges for young people.

We invite trustees who are passionate about young people and who are willing to give their time and experience to support Base 51 in enabling young people to reach their potential: and with time to oversee the organisation, develop strategy and ensure sound governance.
