We unite people in a friendly environment where they feel welcome and supported. Our activities aim to tackle post-migration stress by creating valuable relations and a sense of belonging. Our vision is for a community where people are inspired to live to their full capacity to become the architects of their own destiny.

Who we are looking for? 

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to support the launch of charitable activities aiming to support those who are new to London.

We are looking for applications from people from all social and cultural backgrounds, with a variety of skills and experience to help engage with a diverse range of individuals. 


What are we going to do? 

This is a leadership role and will be ideal for a natural communicator.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Support the strategic development of the charity.

  • Working with Trustees to identify, create and deliver community engagement activities. 

  • Recruit members and manage the “Community Leaders” group.

  • Understand and use asset-based community development approaches to community development. 

  • Work with communities to understand priorities and co-design initiatives. This should also include working ‘with’ communities and community organisations.

  • Engage with clients, partner organisations and volunteers. 

We will be offering a big deal of autonomy in deciding your own working methods and approaches. As this role is voluntary, it offers great flexibility to fit around your time and we will discuss time commitment during the interview.
