About Saturday Project
Saturday Club is a place of fun, friendship, food and learning for young refugees and asylum seekers (aged 14-21).
Each session starts with an English class and after this one-to-one homework support, fun activities and workshops are available. Regular activities include table tennis, pool and air hockey, various board games and team games with volunteers on hand to join in games and chat with. A group of young people always cooks and we sit down and share lunch together. The project aims to promote well-being, reduce social isolation, and reduce the incidence of mental health crisis in this group.
