Kelton Nursery and After School require a dedicated Treasurer to positively impact on the present and future of one of the largest nurseries in Merseyside.
About the Charity
Kelton Nursery is a parent-led, not-for-profit nursery built for the purpose of creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can feel happy and secure. The nursery offers a range of services to meet the needs of a busy family, including holiday and after-school care, for children aged from 6 weeks to 11 years, 51-weeks per year. Kelton Nursery is committed to helping children fulfil their own potential. Based in a large Victorian house in Mossley Hill, South Liverpool, their setting is fully equipped with high quality learning resources to enhance children’s learning and development.
About the role of Treasurer
As Treasurer, you will be responsible for steering financial viability and maintaining an overview of the organisation’s affairs. The role of Treasurer requires an experienced finance professional who will confidently prepare and present the financial reports to the board. You will use your finance background to confidently give a firm strategic direction for the nursery. You may be an experienced Treasurer, or perhaps an accountant, book-keeper or finance manager interested in enhancing your CV whilst providing much-needed guidance to the dedicated team at Kelton. This is a fantastic opportunity to give something back, and really make a difference to the children, parents and staff.
If you have demonstrable financial experience and interested in becoming involved in a rewarding not-for-organisation, then please get in touch with the Charity Careers North West team today. We’ll send you an information pack about this role as well as the full job description and person specification.
The closing date for all applications is Wednesday 31st July.
