Childhood First is a charity with a long and successful history of providing integrated programmes of care, education and treatment for traumatised children and young people, together with expert support for their families, carers and associated professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain charity experience, in the area of training administration within an institute. You will be supporting the training team and students working towards becoming psychotherapeutic councillors.
We are looking for an individual who can support the administration of the iST training function within the organisation. You will be working with both the academic tutors, students and occasionally the researchers. The training administration is a vital function in the smooth running of the training and we would like the individual to bring new ideas to help make things more efficient to make sure our students receive a high quality training experience.
In terms of experience, it would ideal but not essential to have an administration background. More importantly we are looking for someone who has good organisation skills with great attention to detail, open to developing and learning, is proactive and can use their initiative to work on tasks to support the team.
Typical tasks will include: updating student details (registrations, attendance, leavers etc.), supporting graduation events, upkeep of student resources (handbooks, Dropbox etc.), library maintenance, occasional data collection for research projects and other miscellaneous tasks.
Volunteers are unpaid. However, the Charity may reimburse volunteers for their reasonable travel costs. If subsistence is unavailable onsite, the Charity at its discretion may give a subsistence allowance of £20.00 per week.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can commit to at least 2/3 days per week for a sustained period of 6 months.
This opportunity will not involve working with children.
To apply for this opportunity you must have the right to work in the UK. Please forward your CV and details of why you are interested in the role and your availability.
Closing date: 16th August 2019
