What we are looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are able to offer from 8 up to 30 hours a week, advising on a number of enquiry areas, through our telephone advice service.
We are looking for people who have a desire to use skills and knowledge for a ‘good cause’, enjoy social contact – being with other people and are committed to personal development – learning and using new skills, building self esteem. We are looking for somebody local but we are able to pay out of pocket travel expenses.
This role will be based in our new office in Kirkby town centre.
This is a diverse and demanding role, similar to that of an adviser, but carried out within our telephone and digital service. As part of a dedicated team you will help to answer telephone calls and emails received from our clients, using questioning skills to efficiently diagnose the help they require. Where the client can be assisted with information, you will provide and explain this. Where the matter is more complex, you will need to refer or signpost to an appropriate source of help. We provide all Telephone Assessors with training, which helps to develop the skills needed to deliver an excellent level of service to clients.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
