Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting and flexible opportunity to give something back to your local community? Enjoy driving and meeting new people? Would you like to see firsthand the difference your contribution makes to local children and families? Then become a Volunteer Hospice Driver at Claire House Children's Hospice.

We're looking for a friendly, personable and professional person to join our amazing team of volunteer drivers. By driving our minibus and helping to transport children and young people to and from the Hospice for planned respite and activities (everything from zoo visits to trips to the cinema), you'll be helping to ensure we can provide them with incredible experiences. So, it's the perfect role if you'd love to make a huge difference to others!

To do this role, you’ll need a full UK driving licence (proof required) and to be over 21 years old and under 70 years old. Before commencing the role, you will undertake a MiDAS Training Course (covered by Claire House). Volunteers will be supported by a member of staff at all times.
