Amy’s Place is a partnership between the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Clarion Futures, providing supported living accommodation for young women in recovery and receiving support with drug and alcohol issues.

Are you patient, friendly and passionate about Knitting? We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and outgoing knitters to join our team of volunteers. Helping to facilitate a regular Knitting Club for young women living in sheltered accommodation and recovering from addictions.

Activities include:

  • Planning and delivering Knitting sessions
  • Teaching the participants knitting skills, or ensuring they improve their knitting skills
  • Ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

This role requires us to carry out a check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Volunteers receive a thorough induction and have access to any relevant in-house and external training.

Reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed
