We are a Non-profit organisation in its earliest stages of business. A social enterprise based in Newham, led by former offenders and members of the community that we represent as a Community Interest Company (CIC)
CRS looking for Volunteers who share common interest in reducing crime, offending, re-offending, radicalization, extremism and providing alternative gateways for socially marginalized individuals on a case by case basis to re-navigate narratives to alternative solutions that will benefit themselves and society.
We are looking for a wide range of talented individuals who are not scared of rolling up their sleeves and addressing the issues we all face in society.
As a start up social enterprise, we lack funding and resources. We need your help in stepping up to the plate and making change within the communities we represent in London. By transferring your skills into this venture, we aim to create social change that's desperately overdue and much required in our community.
CRS is looking for a wide range of volunteers from every collage, university and sector of employment.
We need your help with the following:
Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Insta, Snap etc...)
B2B & B2C
Literature - review and improvement
Law & Legal
(If you have any other expertise not listed, we would like to hear from you!)
We require a forward-thinking intern who is motivated and enthusiastic to help with the growth of CRS:
Highly organised with the ability to multi-task;
Excellent IT skills;
Ability to be proactive and work largely unsupervised;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
A genuine interest in criminal justice and social policy.
Key Responsibilities (for selected volunteers)
Communications, including PR, promotion, website maintenance and social media;
Assist in creating, updating and maintaining systems for monitoring and evaluation;
Collate and analyse data with some report writing;
Research background material for projects and business development;
Administrative duties, including some diary management and travel booking;
Assist with recruitment through liaising with agencies and potential employees;
Identify methods and avenues for publicising and marketing;
Assist staff and Director with tasks as and when they arise.
