Make a difference today!
Irene is finding her evenings lonely and would love a visit from a friendly volunteer
Our member Irene who has sight loss due to older age, loves garden birds, feeding them and nature in general. Shes quite crafty and enjoys making her own cards, shes also very easy to chat to, with a friendly nature, so a conversation with Irene is fun and very interesting. Unfortunately due to her sight loss Irene is finding it more and more difficult to read her favorite books and therefore ideally she would like a volunteer to visit her on an evening between 7pm and 9am, Monday to Friday, read to her and have a good natter!
Do you share a passion for reading, liking different literature and could ensure Irene's Evenings are less lonely? .... Apply today
