How to apply
Pop round to Moira's for a chat and a game of scrabble
Our member, Moira, is 85 years old and lives alone in the Rhyl area. She enjoys watching the TV and gardening and loves spending time outside in her beautiful summer house. Her other interests include knitting, playing Scrabble andreading on her Kindle.
Due to her combined sight and hearing loss, Moira finds herself spending more time alone at home and feeling increasingly isolated and cut off from her local community. She is looking for a chatty, friendly befriender who can visit her for a couple of hours a week to play Scrabble, sit in the garden and perhaps go out to the nurseries up the road or for afternoon tea.
Ideally, you will be a driver with your own transport but this is not necessary. Simply being available to meet and spend some time with Moira at her home would make a huge difference to her life.
No experience is necessary simply a warm heart and a friendly, caring nature. Apply today and be the positive change in Moira's life.......
