Volunteer Sensory Play Buddy (Worcester)

Do you enjoy having fun and being creative? Would you like to make a difference? 

We are looking for a friendly volunteer to join us in Worcester and engage in lots of sensory and messy play. The lady we support really enjoys messy activities and would love the company of someone to enjoy this with! 

If you would like to make a difference and make a great friend along the way, we would love to hear from you!   

Activities will include: 

• Enjoying sensory and messy activities together, e.g. food and sensory objectives such as jelly, flour and water mixed together, and much more!  

• Company, friendship and fun. The lady we support is nonverbal and uses gestures and body language to communicate. 

Activities will NOT include: Personal care, medication or financial assistance. 

We are looking for someone who is: 

• Creative and happy to get messy!  

• Friendly and enthusiastic 

• Comfortable chatting with people with learning disabilities and/or autism 

• Reliable/dependable and willing to commit to volunteer regularly (exact times/days can be discussed) 

A DBS check and two character references will be required for this role.
