Job Description

Mayfair Power & Tower Race, 31st May - 7am - 10:30am

Do something incredible before breakfast this spring and take part in one of London’s most unique challenge events and help us to change the lives of young people!

How you will help

Your key responsibility will be as race marshals, guiding the runners around the course and celebrating the runners as they start and finish the challenge. You will also assist at the registration desk by handing out T-shirts and water bottles for the runners.  Please have a good look at the route map contained within this document as there will be insufficient time to have a walk-through on the morning of the event. During the briefing you will receive a pre-designated set point on the route and will be responsible for guiding, supporting and encouraging the participants as they run pass.

Day of Event

As race Volunteers we need you to arrive at the London Hilton on Park Lane for 7:00 am so that we can start setting up and preparing for the race. Once you arrive at the Hilton please find your way to the reception where you will liaise with the rest of the team for a briefing.  The event will run from 7am to approximately 10:30am.

Once you have completed your assigned tasks you may join the runners for breakfast and a glass of champagne.

Please be aware that the DM Thomas Foundation is NOT able to cover any transport or travelling costs so please ensure you will be able to get to Hyde Park by 7am on the day.
