Connecting international volunteers with local communities to support environmental conservation and youth development in Brazil.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience working with an international development NGO while living in a beautiful beach town with great surf and a tropical rainforest in Bahia, Brazil. We are looking for office volunteers or interns to help us manage our e-mails and correspondences with other prospective or incoming volunteers as well as to support us with marketing, communications and recruitment work. This may include support with Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites, as well as helping us ensure that our recruitment postings are online and kept updated.
In addition, the office volunteer will have the freedom to be creative and will be allowed to branch out to others areas where the NGO could use extra support as well. The ETIV Office volunteer will receive training and support from the Director and the Assistant Director of ETIV, and will be able to learn a great deal about administration and how to manage a volunteer lead NGO in a developing nation.
ETIV do Brasil is located in the beautiful fishing and surfing town of Itacaré, Bahia. Our mission is to connect international travelers with meaningful volunteer opportunities to support environmental conservation and development in Brazil. We give volunteers the option to stay at our Volunteer House and add on Portuguese and Capoeira classes to their experience. ETIV can also link volunteers to stunning eco-adventure tours.
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years or older on their date of arrival.
- Volunteers work at least 4 hours day/20 hours a week, usually Monday – Friday from 9am to 1pm, although schedules can be flexible.
