Job description

The Freshwater Habitats Trust is a national charity, based in Oxford, dedicated to protecting the wildlife of our freshwaters.  We carry out research, practical projects and lobby policy makers to ensure that freshwater wildlife and habitats have a secure future. You can find out more about our work on our website.

We are looking for a Treasurer (a qualified accountant) to join our board of trustees. Experience within the charity sector and an interest in conservation management would be of benefit, but not essential.

Trustees are expected to attend 4 board meetings per year (this can be remotely), plus some additional sub-committee meetings as required.  All trustees serve in a voluntary capacity. Travel expenses are re-imbursed.

In order to express your interest in joining us as a Trustee please send a CV and completed application form (available from the job webpage of our website) to Lisa Stevens, Office Manager via post or our 'info' email address.
