We are currently looking for a dynamic, creative and inspiring Chair of Trustees who can bring their energy and expertise to the organisation.
We are particularly keen to recruit a Chair who is experienced in the following areas:
- Previous experience in another small Charity
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Charity governance

You will oversee fundraising efforts for Students4Students, which includes grant writing, running campaings and overseeing our team of Branch Fundraising Officers.
Students4Students (S4S) is a national charity, that works to ensure all children can achieve their potential, which is seeking to grow. We need to increase our fundraising to support our growth ambitions.
S4S has c.100 volunteers split across 4 branches. Each branch is semi-independent and run by student committees. These students are supported via our committee programme. At each of these committees, we have a student Fundraising Officer.
We are therefore looking for someone who can:
1) Lead our central fundraising efforts through research and applying for grants, and co-ordinating fundraising for the charity as a whole.
2) Train and support our local branch fundraising officers in their fundraising activities, including showing them how to apply for grants, how to fundraise effectively and how to co-ordinate key events.
Responsibilities and duties
The post-holder will be responsible for:
• Owning and managing fundraising activities for S4S.
• Managing a team of Fundraising Officers, including providing training, coaching & support for them.
• Researching and applying for appropriate grants for Students4Students.

LAFF sees fundraising as a way to create long term relationships with donors; as the fundraising coordinator, you will play a vital part in this, working with the communications team to consider the full donor-cycle, from first approach to long term updates about LAFF’s work and our beneficiaries.

Cameras For Girls aims to address the issues surrounding the lack of female empowerment, gender inequality and poverty across Africa by working with females endeavouring to become journalists and photographers in male-dominated spaces.

The Position
We are looking for a Grants Officer who can coordinate our grants team and support diverse tasks that include research, ideation and writing of proposals. In this role you’ll be a key contributor to the continued existence of Second Tree, a small, grassroots NGO that is dependent on grants to survive.
To do this successfully, you will employ meticulous time-management and organization skills, as juggling multiple tasks with competing deadlines is common in this role. We have two volunteer houses that can host up to nine people where long-term volunteers are accommodated. Some volunteers choose to rent their own accommodation. In certain periods of the year, demand is extremely high, and the volunteer houses might be full. If you have the means to pay for your own accommodation, please let us know. We would still be happy to host you if space is available. However, in a situation where the volunteer houses are full, this would allow us to offer a volunteering opportunity to someone that cannot afford to pay rent.
