General logistics volunteer
The general logistics volunteer will support the charity’s involvement with a food bank and soup kitchen, and delivery of care packages for the vulnerable.
To begin with, the volunteer will support our CEO who currently helps with the logistics: collecting and laying out the food, setting up the tables and distributing food, returning goods not used, collecting items for the care packages and delivering them to organisations.
The commitment is for two days a week: supporting the food bank in Finsbury Park every Friday, and the soup kitchen in Aldgate every Thursday.
Over time, the volunteer will run all the activities and work closely with our charity partner.
Driving and a clean licence is essential.
