Job description

Can you help lead us into the future?

As the national youth council of the UK, we bring young people together to find their voice and use it for social and political change. As a youth-led charity, all our work is shaped and led by young people, and that includes our board - all trustees are 25 or under when they are appointed.

We are currently recruiting for new trustees to help us take the charity forward.  As a trustee you will be legally responsible for the charity, getting a great grounding in all areas of charity governance, leadership and financial management. We are particularly keen to expand the skill set of our board and would welcome applications from those with some experience of:

  • HR or inclusion, diversity and equalities.
  • Finance or auditing
  • strategic communications or digital transformation.

We would also welcome applications from young people who identify as Black or from a minority ethnic community, disabled or with a life-limiting condition, or transgender or non-binary. We would also welcome applications from people in or from Wales.
