Are you a young leader aged 16-24 years old, passionate about the environment? Great! Look no further than Groundwork Youth! 

Groundwork Youth supports young people to take action in their local environment, providing opportunities and experiences to develop your leadership potential and connecting you with like-minded people wanting to make a difference in their communities. Our Youth Advisory Board help shape our campaigns and programme of activity, ensuring we inspire and include young people from different backgrounds in our Youth Network.

This flexible, voluntary role with Groundwork UK, a leading  community charity, includes full training and ongoing support to achieve your goals. You will run campaigns, motivate and inspire young people and represent your area across the UK, gaining voluntary experience with various partner organisations.

Some existing experience of volunteering, taking part in campaigns, or organising fundraising events is desirable.

The role will include travelling around the UK to three core meetings and other opportunities to represent and advocate on behalf of young people (with expenses covered by Groundwork) 

So that our Youth Advisory Board can reflect the diversity of the communities we serve around the UK, we encourage applications from young people of different ages, backgrounds, races and religions.

We can accommodate and support a variety of learning and physical abilities.
