Job description

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your skills and enthusiasm to our shop that will raise funds for free services for all our patients. As a volunteer you will be part of the shop’s dynamic team providing high quality customer service in a warm and engaging environment

The role of the volunteer is to support the manager in the successful running of the Hospice Shop either in St John's Wood or Finchley road.

Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring supporters are cared for when donating items, customers receive excellent service and the shop generates maximum revenue for the Hospice.

We ask that most volunteers can commit to at least one shift a week or more if they wish. Shift times are:
Morning Shift: 10am – 2pm
Afternoon Shift: 2pm – 6pm
However we can be flexible and understand that volunteers do have occasional other commitments they will have to miss a shift for.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your skills and enthusiasm to a shop that will raise funds for free services for all our patients.
You will gain skills in customer interactions, learn how to use the till and pricing equipment and be trained in the proper gift aid and donation process.
You will be part of a dynamic group of volunteers who make each day a fun and enjoyable experience!
