Job Description

Our Calais operation is completely dependent on material donations from people all over the world. Without clothing, bedding, food and cash donations, none of our operations would be possible. 

Manage the incoming donations at the warehouse of the biggest distributor of aid to refugees in Northen France. Be part of the humanitarian response to the worsening situation of refugees in Europe as a coordinator in our Calais operation.


 -Liase with major donors and partner organisations

 - Coordinate deliveries with UK and European donations-warehouse networks

 - Respond to emails regarding incoming aid

 - Communicate with Warehouse Managers and Distribution Managers to be responsible for stock levels. 

 - Lead and develop creative online donations appeals and projects

 - Manage cash donations and be responsible for small financial decisions 

 - Use social media to communicate donations needs to the wider public and liase with our media

Required skills: 

 - Excellent written and spoken English 

 - Written and spoken French (proficiency preferred)

- Fund raising experience

 - Great interpersonal skills necessary for maintaining relationships with donors

 - Experience using Google Office software

 - Full driving licence (prefered) 

 - Admin experience (prefered) 


- Strong motivation

- Calm under pressure

- Excellent communication skills

-Some knowledge of the migration situation in Northen France/Europe.
