Job description

Are you a keen cook who enjoys cooking for large amount of people!

We are looking for someone with a passion for cooking to assist in a hostelfor homeless men’s kitchen!

If so we would love to hear from you!

Main Tasks

Support the team to create a menu plan with the feedback from the service users living in the service

Assisting with food preparation

Assisting with cleaning of the Kitchen Area before and after preparing meals.

Carrying out phone calls to support purchasing of food orders

Skills, experience, qualities needed:

Experience of cooking for large amounts of people.

Able to work quickly under pressures

Basic knowledge in taking and recording prepared food temperatures with the apparatus provided.

Awareness of health and safety issues

Reliable, patient and friendly

Good communication skills

Location: Ealing, London

Hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am – 2 pm
