Humanists UK is the national charity working on behalf of non-religious people who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives based on reason and humanity. Founded in 1896, Humanists UK is trusted by over 55,000 members and supporters and over 90 local and special interest affiliates to promote Humanism, a secular state, and equal treatment of everyone regardless of religion or belief.
Humanists UK require several highly motivated volunteers to support the development of our Community Services team for a period of (ideally) at least three months. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone with an interest in equality issues who would like to gain experience in a third sector organisation experiencing rapid growth.
The volunteer positions will be primarily research and project based, and you will be helping deliver outcomes that will have huge implications for a range of public services.
With an immediate start, we ask that you can offer the flexibility to volunteer up to three days per week (Monday to Friday) but also remain flexible with the evolving demands of the projects.
If you are interested, please send a copy of your CV as soon as possible, with a covering letter of no more than 300 words explaining why you think you would be suitable for this work.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
