Job description

About the role

You will help students improve their speaking skills and expand their vocabulary within a conversation class using topics of your choice.

Main tasks and activities

  • Placing students into different levels of English at the beginning of the class (mixed level)
  • Keeping the class on schedule according to the level and learning outcomes
  • Ensuring student participation during classes
  • Preparing for classes, including production of relevant hand outs and worksheets
  • Using own material or Real Life Language tools
  • Monitoring attendance
  • Attending meetings to discuss students’ progress and attendance if needed  
  • Delivering hands-on and interactive classes to provide practical skills  

Role information 

Days and hours: Monday 3pm to 5pm 

Term: Minimum commitment of 3 months

Reporting to: Programme Manager Education, Employment & Training

Key skills required: CELTA/ CerTESOL or other TESOL certification/experience
