Passionate, committed and talented Trustees are essential to a successful charity. Lymphoma Action is recruiting for a Trustee with Human Resources expertise to join us at this exciting stage in our development.
• Voluntary role (reasonable expenses reimbursed)
• Time commitment estimated as 12 days a year (ie. four Board meetings, Remuneration Committee, annual Away Day, plus reading and prep time)
• Meetings take place in Aylesbury, Bucks (remote participation possible via Skype)
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance and overall strategic direction of Lymphoma Action. In this role you will help us effectively manage resources; plan for the long-term as well as the short-term, all the while staying focused on the needs of people affected by lymphoma.
In addition, you will be a HR professional with the expertise to provide advice on HR aspects of organisational growth and strategy. With a detailed People Strategy in place we are proud of our investment in people and their experience of working with us, and believe you will find it a rewarding experience to join us.

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer; we have been providing expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years. With a head office in Aylesbury, we employ 31 staff and have over 300 volunteers. Our annual income in 2019 was circa £1.8m.
