Migrants’ Rights Network is looking for an intern to support our media monitoring work related to hate crime in the UK since the Brexit referendum. This will be a good opportunity for somebody wishing to gain experience in media analysis, research or on work related to hate crime, racism or xenophobia.
The candidate will be placed at the Migrants’ Rights Network working closely with the iStreetWatch coordinator. iStreetWatch is an online hate crime reporting site, managed by MRN, where people can report their experiences of racism and xenophobia confidentially.
S/he will have the opportunity to learn about current media narratives and reporting related to hate crime, immigration and Brexit.
This internship is unpaid but travel and lunch expenses will be covered by MRN.
