Role type: Voluntary
Location: Can be based anywhere, but will need to travel to London for board meetings (expenses paid)
Start date: You will need to be available to attend a board meeting on Friday 25th October in London, as well as a half day induction session earlier in that week, with full board responsibilities starting in January 2020
Time commitment: Half a day per month, plus attendance at four board meetings per year.

We are looking for new board members (company directors) to contribute to the organisation’s governance. Currently we have a board of five members, some of whom will be standing down in the near future, and we are looking to grow and diversify its membership alongside recruiting a new Chair.
This is an exciting time for NEON as we are coming to the end of our three-year 2017-2020 strategy and developing our new strategy to take us through to 2023.
We are interested in hearing from people who may not have been board members before, but who can make contributions to at least one of the following areas: governance, organisational management, anti-oppression, organising, communications, fundraising, influencing strategy, financial management and risk management.
