Do you know your Salinger from your Steinbeck or your Rowling from your Rankin? This could be the ideal role for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our friendly and energetic team and to work on the Book Department in our brand new and unique Oxfam Superstore on Oxford Business Park.

This exciting project will be the first of its kind in the UK and as well as being an innovative retail store that will offer the very best of our donated fashion, homewares, books, music, electricals and new Sourced by Oxfam products, the Superstore will also feature The Water Tank Cafe, an amazing online store sellin to a worldwide audience, a market place for local ethical traders from the local community to display and sell their goods, and an exciting 'performance space' where we'll host workshops featuring anything from cycle repair to furniture upcycling!

Being a volunteer at the Oxfam Superstore will allow you to learn new skills, improve your CV and meet new friends, whilst also helping those suffering from poverty in the UK and abroad.

You will be trained on any or all of the following:

Receiving donations, sorting, valuing & pricing donated stock

Displaying and replenishing donated stock in line with shop standards

Researching and listing our stock online for a worldwide audience

Visual merchandising 

Providing Customer service & operating the till

Promoting our Gift Aid scheme and much more ...

No experience required as full training provided, but we require that you are dedicated, reliable, willing to learn.
