As Group Coordinator, you will be enthusiastic and keen to establish and maintain good working relationships with your volunteers, local and UK Office staff and external organisations, as well as contributing to the planning of all our activities
Activity groups are run by volunteers and offers friendship and support in the form of activities for people living with Parkinson's and their partners in a local area. The range of activities may vary and give people affected by Parkinson's a more flexible opportunity of taking part in things that will help them feel in control of their Parkinson's.
You will be supporting the Group Lead Volunteers by bringing them together via zoom or face to face to discuss the planning and needs of the group at least once a quarter and keeping records of these discussions.
You'll have a chance to use and develop your administrative, leadership and communication skills - supported by local staff, to help develop a programme of activities for your group.
