Our Volunteer Coordinator will source the right people to volunteer for our organisation, i.e. where/how can we advertise for volunteers as well as assist with onboarding new staff.
You will: recruit new staff members and manage onboarding of new staff. Maintain organisational policies and procedures, and promote the organisation and its volunteer opportunities.
- work directly with the CEO and COO to generate appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the organisation
- promote new job opportunities through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns
- interview and recruit new staff and ensure they are appropriately matched and trained for a position
Our volunteer Coordinator will be a key asset to our organisation as your invaluable support is required to ensure we have the best staff to push our work forward.
You will provide support and engagement of our team of volunteers.
We'd love to have an individual who is self-motivated and passionate about community participation. You are proactive, organised and able to ensure databases/records are kept up to date.
You will provide support and engagement of our team of volunteers, thus you must have strong administration skills and communication skills as well as proven experience in engaging with volunteers in the charity sector.
