Job description

Trustee (Treasurer)

We are recruiting new trustees to join our talented board. We are going through a period of significant growth and are looking for an enthusiastic finance expert to lead us in ensuring we are financially stable, working to support us with our sustainability, growth and change. This role involves supporting and mentoring our small finance team as they update and improve our financial monitoring and reporting systems, provide timely reporting to the board and ensure our finances are agile and fit for purpose for our current needs.

As a Trustee you will have the opportunity to shape the future of a unique charity and work with other trustees and the staff team, and ultimately, help us reach our goal of ending domestic violence.

In practice, the day-to-day running of the organisation is delegated to the Chief Executive (CE) and her team of senior leaders (SLT). The CE and SLT also develop Respect’s strategic objectives, plans, and budget, for the approval of the board.

How to apply

Please download the documents from the Respect website and complete the application form and equality monitoring form and email by Monday 24th January 9am.

The interview will be on Tuesday 1st February.

Forms must be received in a Word document format (not PDF). Please note we do not accept CVs.
