Role: Secretary of the Trustees (Voluntary Position)
Hours: Min 8 Hours Per Month
Scotia is a new community organisation that will aim to provide a range of community activities, programmes and services free to those who need it.
We will be a grassroots community led charity with an aim to bring people together in unity and under one community, bring people together in community spirit, while forging a family environment with an aim to bring back the collective society so that no one is isolated or lonely.
We need a Volunteer for approx. 8 hours per month to join our new organisation as Secretary of the Trustees, where you will lead on organising board meetings, taking minutes and typing them up, keeping all official records of Trustees Meetings up to date, work with the Chair and Vice Chair to help ensure an effectively running board and providing secretarial and administative governance to Scotia.
This role would suit someone with at least 3 years experience in Secretarial/Administrative work, or a Company Secretary would be desirable but not essential and someones who is very organised with attention to detail but who also has passion for community work.
