Volunteer with Shelter at Urban Rush London 2019

Shelter’s Urban Rush is back and with it we are looking for enthusiastic, hands on volunteers to help the event run smoothly and make it a day to remember for our amazing runners.

Urban Rush is a unique running event created by Shelter. 2019 will be its fourth year and will see 600 runners take on 15 miles across London, starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford and finishing in Putney to raise £185,000 to help families in England facing bad housing and homelessness.

Events like this simply can’t happen without the dedication and support of on the day volunteers!

The Event

Date: Sunday 6th October 2019

Time Commitment: Three-hour shifts between 7.30am and 2pm depending where you’re based
