Sinergia Animal is looking to create a committee dedicated to guaranteeing diversity and representation within the organization. The committee members are going to be tasked with orienting staff on communications, human resources, campaigns and other actions on how we can be more inclusive and diverse, as well as facilitating our dialogue with other social movements. We truly believe animal, environmental and human rights issues are closely interconnected and would like to ensure this is reflected in the core of Sinergia Animal.
We are looking for representatives that are both deeply aware of the animal rights cause and are experienced in at least one of these issues: environment, faith, fair trade, gender equality, LGBTQI+, human rights, social justice, racial equality, indigenous movement, workers rights’ movement, migrants' rights, people with disabilities, body positivity, youth movement or others.

About the organization
Rated as one of the world’s most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries from the Global South (South America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate and plant-based food choices. We use negotiation, investigations, peaceful direct actions and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of animals on factory farms. The goal is to persuade major food corporations to adopt and implement policies to phase out the use of animal products which originate from the worst forms of animal production systems, with a focus on intensive confinement practices. We also work with public institutions to help them reduce their purchases of animal products. Finally, we carry out consumer campaigns to help people adopt plant-based diets.
