We are looking for Volunteer Honorary Counsellors to join our Counselling service. North London Rape Crisis offers counselling across 7 boroughs for women 13 years and over who have experienced any form of sexual violence. We are pleased to be offering a number of volunteer counselling opportunities for female counselling/psychotherapy trainees wanting to specialise in trauma and sexual violence within a supportive counselling service which works from a Humanistic/Relational approach. It is essential that you have a qualification or working towards a qualification in counselling / psychotherapy with at least 150 supervised client hours within the BACP/ UKCP framework. An understanding of working with trauma and excellent communication skills are essential


  • 3 client hours per week
  • 1.5 clinical supervision per month (provided)
  • 8 monthly clinical case meetings per year.  We have two groups, either Mondays or Fridays, 10-11:30am
  • Induction and CPD training
  • Completion of CORE forms
