Job description

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct short initial assessments with clients wishing to access support from our Back 2 Work Team

  • Work with guests in initial sessions to Set / Clarify their initial Goals and priorities and create an initial Support plan

  • Undertake Monthly Check in Sessions

  • Being clear about what we can and cannot help with

  • Provide some basic support/ generalist advice to guests

  • Liaise with Specialist Case Work/Advice Team volunteers to develop Case Studies/ Review guest progress and outcomes against priorities

  • Conduct End of project review and follow up

  • Undertake project Administration

Key Qualities: 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of customer service or dealing with a diverse range of people

  • Good listening skills

  • An ability to communicate well and with confidence when handling enquiries

  • A professional and friendly phone manner

  • Some experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience of data entry

  • Awareness of the Welfare System and circumstances that may bring people to our service

  • A non-judgemental attitude towards people’s problems and challenges faced in their lives

  • A warm and friendly approach
