Ref: V042 | Stroke Group Supporter | Cambridge, CB22 5JT

Based at the David Rayner Centre, Scotsdales Garden Centre, 120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, Cambridge, CB22 5JT, we’re looking for 2 Volunteer Stroke Group Supporters who love to organise!

You would be volunteering every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm.

The group need help to plan and arrange activities for the regular group sessions as well as group outings and all the Admin that goes with it. It may not matter if you are unable to attend the group every week.

To be an effective Stroke Group Supporter you will:

  • Be someone who is good at working with people and helping to support them at meetings and events.
  • Enjoy helping with community group activities and working with others to get things done
  • Have an approachable manner and be comfortable welcoming people to the group.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role.
