Job description

Are You Ready to Bring SUNSHINE to London?

Join Us and Ignite Hope, Connection, and Joy!

Imagine a London where no one feels alone. A city vibrant with genuine connections, powerful community spirit, and endless joy. That's the future we're building at SUNSHINE, a brand-new, 100% volunteer-run charity launching with a heartfelt mission: to combat loneliness and transform countless lives for the better.

We're in the exhilarating start-up phase, laying the groundwork to officially launch and register. This isn't just an opportunity; it's an invitation to be a founding force, to shape our future, and to make a monumental impact from day one. Your passion, skills, and energy aren't just welcome—they're essential to lighting up London!

Calling All Service & Programme Development Visionaries!

We're seeking a dedicated Service & Programme Development Manager to join our pioneering team and help us build something truly extraordinary. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute your unique talents, this is your chance to leave an indelible mark on London's heart.

This vital role is about bringing SUNSHINE's mission to life through impactful activities. You'll be the architect behind our initial offerings, responsible for crafting, designing, setting up, managing, and monitoring our services and activities. As a start-up, our interim focus will be on delivering monthly or short-term programmes (up to 12 weeks). This strategic approach will allow us to measure our impact, adapt and develop our services, and easily upscale as needed, ensuring we manage our capacity as a volunteer-run charity and guarantee sustainability.

Here's where your brilliance can make a difference:

  • Design & Innovate: Craft engaging, person-centred programmes and activities that directly combat loneliness and foster genuine connection.

  • Strategic Setup: Implement efficient processes for launching and delivering our initial monthly and short-term programmes.

  • Monitor & Measure: Develop and apply tools to track the success and impact of our services, providing crucial data for future growth.

  • Adapt & Evolve: Use insights from monitoring to refine and develop programmes, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.

  • Capacity & Sustainability: Plan and manage programmes with a keen eye on our volunteer capacity, ensuring everything we do is sustainable as we grow.

Why SUNSHINE?

This is more than volunteering; it's a chance to be part of a vibrant movement from the very beginning.

You'll:

  • Shape a Legacy: Be a foundational member of a charity set to profoundly impact London.

  • Connect & Grow: Work alongside passionate individuals, expand your network, and develop new skills.

  • See Your Impact: Directly contribute to creating a more connected, joyful city.

  • Experience the Excitement: Thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment where your ideas matter.

Ready to Ignite Change?

If you're eager to transform lives and build a brighter, more connected London, we want to hear from you!

Your help during this initial phase is absolutely critical to bringing SUNSHINE to glorious life.

Join our passionate team and help us build a brighter, more connected world for all.
