Job description

Launched in early 2017, this young, dynamic and fast-growing charity has grown its income from approx. £35,000 to £230,000 (including through statutory funding) and its team from one to twelve in the past 12 months. Due to this growth, the charity is looking to expand its Board of Trustees to support and guide the charity’s work.


SEA is looking for Trustees who have experience in the following areas of expertise:
 
▪ Fundraising – we are looking for a trustee who will head up our Development Board

▪ Finance and accountancy – we are looking for a trustee who will join our Finance, Audit and Risk sub-committee.

▪ Legal – we are looking for a trustee who will join our Finance, Audit & Risk subcommittee.

▪ Charity Governance – we are looking for a trustee who has current or previous experience of chairing a charity.
 

Experience in the following areas would also be beneficial: ▪ Vulnerable customers in the financial sector ▪ Family law ▪ Mental health  ▪ Housing
