Are you looking for an outdoor volunteering opportunity this summer? In July, London will become the world’s first National Park City. A National Park City is a commitment to making the capital greener, healthier and wilder to benefit everyone. To mark this, the Mayor of London's National Park City Festival running from 19-28 July, will be London's largest free celebration of the outdoors. There’ll be fun activities from stand up paddle-boarding to wildlife photography competitions and hundreds of other exciting activities and events.
Team London need volunteers to get involved in the Mayor’s National Park City Festival. As a National Park City Maker, you will be the enthusiastic and welcoming face of the festival who will help audiences find out what’s on, where, and to help make sure they have an incredible experience. Volunteering opportunities take place during 19 - 28 July at various locations across London. Here's a peek at just some of the events you can get involved in as a National Park City Maker:
National Park City Splash, London’s first multi-site outdoor swimming and paddle sports event, will take place over one of the weekend's of the festival. All abilities will be welcome to try their hand at activities such as stand up paddle boarding and open water swimming, right here in the capital.
