The Bike Project is going through a phase of significant expansion in order to meet the growing demands of refugees and asylum seekers in the regions we work. We are looking for a new treasurer to support our growth as our current treasurer's term comes to the end.
The role of the treasurer is to monitor the financial administration of the charity and report to the board of trustees at regular intervals on its state of financial health, in line with best practice, and in compliance with the governing document and legal requirements.
We use an experienced freelance bookkeeper and we are in the process of recruiting a freelance financial controller to support our growth and improve our reporting. The treasurer’s role will be to oversee this team.
