Job description

We need your help to raise awareness of The Children’s Air Ambulance and increase donations and sales in your local Archway charity shop!

There are so many different ways you could get involved with volunteering in our shops. Perhaps you have an eye for style and would like to be a fashion guru? Are you a bookworm and able to recommend a good read to our customers? Maybe you know how to spot high value items and would be great at sorting through our many donations? If you are a natural with people then you might prefer to support on the tills and help customers on the shop floor. If you have strong IT skills you could even help our shops by promoting their social media accounts. Whatever your strengths and interests we will help you find the best way for you to volunteer in our shops!

You don’t need to be experienced to volunteer, you just need to have good communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team and enthusiasm for the work of our charity.

There’s no minimum time commitment to volunteer, any help you can give makes a difference and helps to fund our life saving missions.

We will give you a full induction to all aspects of the role and you will have ongoing support from store management and an experienced volunteer. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills to build your CV and gain invaluable experience working for a leading charity.
